History:


1998: Morava Academy Opened.

November 1998: Czech officials closed the facility after finding evidence of child abuse and torture.

Noteworthy:


Morava Academy was owned by J. Ralph Atkin, a founder of WWASPS and owner/founder of SkyWest Airlines.

Just 2 years earlier, Directors Glenda and Steven Roach had been arrested and charged with child abuse after Mexican authorities closed down Sunrise Beach, another WWASPS facility near Cancun.
